Notice to our clients:
To all our valued clients and patients,
As we are all aware, COVID-19 is affecting our workplaces and lives in many ways. We want to make sure that we are able to continue to offer care to our patients while also protecting our staff and our clients from this virus. We have enacted a few protocols that will help us achieve these goals.
First of all, if you are experiencing signs of illness, please contact your physician. Your health is most important. Coughing, fever, and shortness of breath are symptoms that need to be addressed. If you are experiencing any of these, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better. If you have been quarantined due to exposure to another person with coronavirus, please call to reschedule your appointment so that we can protect our staff from the possibility of exposure.
We do have an online pharmacy with a link on our website. This can help you to order prescriptions and food without having to come into the office. Orders arrive to you by mail in a few days. If you have questions, you can call the office and we will walk you through the process, or we can even process orders for you if you provide your credit card number.
Another alternative for your safety and ours is a “curbside appointment.” This is an appointment where you will bring your pet in and park in the parking lot. Call us when you get here and at your appointment time, we will come out and get your pet and take them inside for any necessary treatment, and then bring them back out to you so that you don’t even need to leave your car! We can call you on your cell phone for needed information.
If you are diagnosed with coronavirus and your pet is ill, we can still provide care. We will need to know if the pet is coming from a coronavirus household so we can properly protect our staff. We ask that any routine or preventative care appointments be rescheduled at a time at least 2 weeks after you are well.
For all current patients, our telemedicine app is active. You can download the app - TeleVet Remote - at either the ITunes App Store or Google Play. We can use this for select patients and rechecks. Check it out!
Please call us if you have questions! We are dedicated to continuing to care for your pets as long as we are able in this difficult time.
6/15/2020: PLEASE NOTE: Due to our being short a veterinarian, we are temporarily not accepting new clients. We are actively searching for a new doctor, and hope to be able to accept new patients again soon.
